We stop here anytime we are close and get some treats we can't get anywhere else. They have great food - today we took a slab of ribs and a pound of brisket beans home with us, along with a big, round cookie. They are always so nice here and ready to get you anything you want. Want some cheese? They'll slice it. Want some sauce? Right over here. How about a bottle of nice wine to go with that? Blue plate specials every day. Next time you are there get a sandwich and take a meatloaf home with you for dinner.
Food is fantastic. Best homemade chips ever. Never disappoints. A bit crowded at times which can make it difficult to move around but when I am in town I always stop by for something and the chips. If you are close by you need to pay them a visit!
Haven't been here in about 30 years and after practice I had to run to the bank... this was on the way! Mommy,Papa and I used to come here periodically and one of the things we would always get is Westphalian ham and their jerky. The look of the jerky has changed but it still tastes AMAZING!!! ❤🇩🇪🤗 (I know I should be saving money, but I needed this memory!)
First time visitor for the purpose of a sub for lunch. Italian Po Boy was on the underwhelming side as it was mostly bread and lacked flavorful kick. The sandwich maker was not aware of banana peppers or giardiniera. The fine foods, butcher case, and packaged products are plentiful for take home. House made chips were a good side option.
Excellent selection, service, and quality. Smoke House may not have exactly what you are looking for at the price you want but everything they have is excellent quality and one of a kind. If you haven't made the trip you are missing out.
I'm visiting from out of town, the hospitality was awesome, the sandwich I got was so so. Other than that the store was amazing!
I've been coming here for lunch for years, it's fantastic! I have also purchased numerous other things to take home such as candies, pies, and various meats.
The wait during the main lunch rush might be bad but it is worth the wait!
